Long Horn Gin
Handcrafted & Locally Made

A gin as a gin must be.
And yet something special.

Long Horn is the gentleman of our clique. It shines through its harmonious juniper spice which combines elegantly with selected botanicals and a fine lime blossom note to a finely rounded exciting gin. A reference to its origin Leipzig – centuries ago by the Slavs living here called Lipsk, the “linden place”.

Long Horn was composed by connoisseurs of spirits – ingenious distillers with an awareness of the Leipzig Wilhelm Horn tradition as well as with a flair for new creations. In the production process we pay attention to every detail – especially to the quality of the selected ingredients.

THE LONG HORN STORY

The origins of gin go back to the 17th century. The pioneer is the Dutch juniper spirit Genever, which was initially created as a medicine. Via the military, it came to the British Isles and quickly gained popularity here as well, henceforth under the name Gin.

Gin is a clear spirit and offers countless variations. The predominant flavor is provided by juniper berries. Other botanicals are added individually and give each gin a specific note. In Long Horn, these are primarily lime blossoms, coriander and lavender.
